About Harry Speir

Harry Speir’s passion for property began in Uganda, where he fundraised and project managed the building of a carpentry school. This valuable experience inspired him to read Estate Management at Northumbria University.

Harry qualified in 2003 with the RICS whilst working for Countrywide Surveyors, where he valued property for banks and building societies, and undertook Residential Survey work across West and South West London.

In 2008 Harry set up and ran his own successful business Right Start Energy, providing energy certificates for Residential property in West London. After three years Harry sold the business to join Warren, a boutique, independent Estate Agents in Putney, where for two important years he was able to see and be involved in the Residential deal making process.

Harry then re-entered as an Associate Surveyor at Countrywide Surveyors, which provided him with the contemporary Surveying experience needed as a spring broad to start his own private practice Speir Surveyors and Valuers.

In 2016 Harry joined forces with fellow established surveyors Charlie MacTaggart and Hugh Watson to form MSW to provide an even better service to his existing and future valued clients. Harry, Charlie and Hugh believe in the same core values, strategies and principles to drive an already successful surveying practice forward.
